No additional stretch. If you are top heavy and you whether wear the top completely closed, this dress is not for you. However, the best part of this dress is that the pretty gold buttons are NOT what really holds the dress closed… there are 2 sets of buttons (one that you cannot see when closed) and they hold it closed VERY securely. The dress quality is amazing. A nice thick denim, it’s my fave dress now. The slits and cut out ensures you won’t be feeling hot even though the dress has some weight. I LOVE IT and no dupe can equal the quality or the look.

I love this dress. However, the dress runs extremely small. I’m on average a large because I’m muscular. I had to get a XXL in order for it to fit around my shoulders, back and chest. I’m 160lbs, 5”4 and a 34DDD. By the picture I’m very proportional just muscular. It’s still a beautiful dress. Just concerned if all the clothes run this way.
